On Sunday, February 23rd, Rev. Jim McConnell will be addressing the feelings of powerlessness that many are experiencing in this political season as our national government seems to be spinning deeper and deeper into division and absurdity. In his sermon, “Money, Power, Religion, Politics, and The Courage to Be,” Jim will explore where we can find the power and courage to create a better society. Additionally, the service will include Fabric of Life, Dane Rasmussen as our reader, Lia McCoskey with the Story for All Ages, Michelle McHale in the Poet’s Corner, and Jennifer Baunoch will bring us a flute solo.
