Join us this Sunday at 10:30amRev. Jim McConnell will lead a sermon titled “Standing at Standing Rock: The Earth Speaks”.

We are going to look at Standing Rock from the perspective of the Earth. The theme of the service will be a basic fact of our existence which is:  We are the Earth. Our lives have been evolving in hers for billions of years.

Potluck Sunday!

First Sunday of the Month Potluck! Bring a dish to pass, or bring just your appetite. Not everyone brings a dish every time, but everyone is encouraged to enjoy the food and fellowship. We encourage all to keep ethical eating practices in mind when choosing and preparing food.

Refugee Coat Drive

Hilary Johnson is organizing a blanket/cold weather clothing drive for refugees being resettled in the Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo areas. These refugees are primarily from Syria, and have virtually no winter gear. The more coats, hats, scarves, mittens, boots, etc. we have, the better start for our newest neighbors. There are on average approximately 42 refugees arriving in Grand Rapids each month. All sizes -from babies to adults- are needed.

Please bring any seasonally appropriate clothing/items you are willing to donate to BUUF on Sunday.

If you have any additional questions or thoughts feel free to contact Hilary at

office@berrienuu.org or (720) 289-8125.
