Sunday Service: "The Problem with Being Smart" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
This Sunday, October 13th we will continue with this month’s theme, “Attention.”  Rev. Jim McConnell’s sermon is titled ” The Problem with Being Smart.”In it, he will discuss ways of aligning our actions with the What-is of our lives.  Put another way: Jim will discuss how we can learn to pay attention to the non-ordinary (spiritual, creative) dimension of mind. (We all have an abundance of wisdom, creativity, and compassion. It is just they are drowned out by the necessities of everyday life.)  Additionally, Connie Johnson will be our reader,  Sandy Walker will be our poet, Isaac Johnson will read us a Story for All Ages, and the BUFF Musicians will lead us in a special musical meditation. Tina Eberly will teach the RE class for children on “The Gift of Covenant.”
Come.
