Sunday Service: "Mindful Compassion" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship | Saint Joseph | Michigan | United States

On Sunday, December 2nd, we will gather and worship as a “Whole Congregation” on the topic of Mindful Compassion. This is a special service created with ideas from the Worship & Arts Panel Discussion (November 11th). Lisa Fuller will be the service leader, Candace Onweller will be at the piano, Lois Thomas and Tracie Crenshaw will talk about Mindfulness in their lives, Will & Helena LaFleur will bring us their thoughts on “What a Kind World Means to Them,” Katharine Lion will teach us about White Tārā, the mother of mercy & compassion, we will be reading the book “How full is your bucket” and we will do two meditations, one sitting and one walking.

This Sunday is also Potluck Sunday! Bring a dish to pass, or bring just your appetite. Not everyone brings a dish every time, but everyone is encouraged to enjoy the food and fellowship.

The service will be preceded by a Welcoming Congregation Committee Meeting at 9 AM and followed by an Anniversary Celebration Planning Session at noon. There will be no BUUF Musician Rehearsal this Sunday.
