CURRENT CAMPAIGN

No Longer A Stranger.

The categorization of people into “us” or “them” is one of the first steps to the fear that leads us to mistreat, dehumanize, and alienate “them.” Interfaith Action believes that when refugees and immigrants seek a new home, they are no longer strangers. This working group seeks to create a welcoming space for the stranger as our neighbor and friend. This group seeks to influence policy through lobbying our government institutions for the implementation of fair, just and generous refugee and immigration policies and practices.
