Environmental Justice Film Series: "The Breakthrough in Renewable Energy" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship | Saint Joseph | Michigan | United States

(2016) Clean energy is becoming less exotic and more practical than ever before thanks to the efforts of a few key countries. Collectively, they’re greasing the wheels for a worldwide revolution. The Breakthrough in Renewable Energy, a new documentary produced by the acclaimed VPRO Backlight series, takes us inside the corporate offices and production lines where this groundbreaking work is being done, and examines what it could mean for the future of energy consumption on Earth.

The film is 46 minutes, and after we watch it we’ll discuss what actions we can take on this and other environmental justice issues. Admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:00 PM. Free popcorn will be served; BYOB encouraged.

This event is hosted by Berrien UU Fellowship Board Member Harvey Johnson, who is also chair of the fellowship’s Green Sanctuary Committee.
