Get ready for an evening of fun and fundraising! The annual BUUF Cabaret & Auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. All BUUFers are encouraged to participate. Some BUUFers sing or dance, some play an instrument, others read poetry. Skits, impressions, puppet shows…all are welcome! Anyone of any age can perform. Partner organizations such as the OutCenter and members of the All God’s Children Choir are also invited to participate.
A fundraising auction will be incorporated into the event. Board Vice President Beth La Fleur has already offered to donate a bookstore gift certificate and DRE Katharine Lion is planning to donate a work of art. Please consider what you, your employer or a business you patronize might donate to our auction.
A planning session for this event is scheduled for noon to 1 PM following the service on Sunday, March 15th. We are looking for volunteers to help plan the meal, schedule performances, serve as MCs, coordinate the auction, and more. Please bring your ideas and special talents to the planning session!
