Sunday, March 1st, 10:30 am – 11:30 am

This Sunday,  March 1st, the title of Rev. Jim McConnell’s sermon is: “How to Talk with People Who Disagree with You and Be Heard.” The topic is back by popular demand. With so much division in the life of our country, learning how to communicate in a non-threatening way with people who have strongly held opinions different from your own is an important skill for healing relationships and getting one’s own opinion heard. It is also an important spiritual discipline. Beth La Fleur and Morgan Garber will be our readers, Harvey Johnson will bring us a poem, Mick Rasmussen will tell the Story for All Ages, and Terra and Dane Rasmussen will make some special music.

There will be a BUUF Musicians rehearsal prior to the service beginning at 9:30.

Our First-Sunday-of-the-Month Potluck will follow the service. Bring a dish to pass, or just bring your appetite. Not everyone brings a dish every time, but everyone is encouraged to enjoy the food and the fellowship. There will be a Welcoming Congregation Team Meeting beginning at noon.

Come and Be.
