Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is excited to announce our next Mindfulness Workshop: Mindfulness through Poetry. Mindfulness is a muscle that we can develop through different practices like meditation; it is simply noticing the present moment. This workshop will help develop our mindfulness muscle using poetry exercises. We will begin with a centering meditation and then learn several short poetry practices, designed to get us to notice the moment and how we feel in the moment. These exercises are a great way to explore your creativity!
For those who would prefer to spend a few hours outdoors, there will be a gardening session this Saturday from 1pm -3pm to build raised beds in the location between the parking lot and the solar panels. The gardening session will take place concurrently with the mindfulness workshop.
