Mary Jo will hold a training session with video for interested BUUF members at 11:30 on Wednesday, August 10. The session will be held at BUFF and last 60 to 90 minutes. Lunch will be provided.
Gather Friday, August 26, 6:30-9:00pm in person at BUUF or join virtually via Zoom to celebrate the New Moon and explore intentions for the coming month. Holly and Katharine will lead. Arrive at BUUF or join Zoom 6:15-6:30pm to settle in.
Circle is cast at 6:30pm. For more information, feel free to call, text or email Lisa Fuller, 269-470-7379 lmfuller0116@gmail.com
Berrien UU Fellowship serves lunch at the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen the first Saturday of every month. Berrien UU volunteers prepare the meal, greet guests and help clean up the kitchen. This is a terrific opportunity to serve the greater community, support our Social Justice mission and enjoy the company of fellow BUUFers and guests at the kitchen. Rev. Jim McConnell, Harvey Johnson, Diane Gibbons and others generously lead the group in planning the meal and dessert and will gladly find a role for all volunteers, whether they’ve helped dozens of times or this is their first time. Please consider coming to the Soup Kitchen to help, even if it’s only for an hour or two.
The Soup Kitchen is located at 233 Michigan Street in Benton Harbor.
