This Sunday, January 12th, the theme of the service will be violence and the Human Spirit. Rev. Jim McConnell’s sermon is titled: “Thresholds of Consciousness: War and Peace.” In his message, Jim will examine the dynamics of the Human Spirit that can lead us into war, destruction, and evil. And where we can find hope for our society which relies too much on violence. Additionally, Marylou Elson will bring us a poem, readers Hunter Leggitt and Betty Adams will share their thoughts, the BUUF Musicians will do their usual magic, and there will be a Story for All Ages.
