Sunday Service: "The International Day of the Girl." @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship | Saint Joseph | Michigan | United States
This Sunday, October 14th, we celebrate the United Nations holiday, “The International Day of the Girl.” Marilyn Klawiter, Gloria Weberg, Connie DeGraaf, and Betty Adams will share with us how familial and social attitudes towards women and girls have shaped them spiritually, emotionally, and materially, as adult women.  Marilyn Klawiter will be our pianist and Julie Williams will bring us a poem.
Our celebration will also acknowledge that girls and woman are often exploited right here in our society and all around the world.  Can we learn to value girls and women?
Come and worship.  This is an important Sunday.
