Sunday Service: "Re-contextualizing Spirituality" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Recontextualisation is a process that extracts text, signs or meaning from its original context (decontextualisation) and reuses it in another context. Vanessa Crenshaw, Dave Sarra, David La Fleur, June Blackwell, John Tusciuk and Nico Rojas will share something they learned during their careers that has given them further insight into their understanding of life. This service will be about finding meaning in unexpected places. The beauty of everyday things. And viewing things from a new perspective as a tool for creativity and spirituality. Candace will surprise us on the piano with her music selections. Katharine Lion will bring a poem. Tina Eberly will tell the Story for All Ages and teach the RE class for children on “Working Together to Make a Difference.” The BUUF Musicians will perform “My Favorite Things.”

There is a BUUF Musicians’ rehearsal before the service at 9:30 AM. There is also a special rehearsal after the service to prepare to perform at BUUF’s 60th anniversary events.
