Sunday Service: "Principled Perspectives" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
This Sunday is our final Sunday of exploration of the proposed 8th UU Principle. At our annual meeting in June, we will be voting whether or not to accept this principle, which is:

“We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

To help us better understand the issues surrounding the proposed principle, Hunter Leggitt and Joanne Krettek will share their perspectives and Rev. Jim McConnell will, in his sermon, examine our existing 7 principles. Additionally, there will be a great story for the kids, and the BUUF Musicians have some really splendid music for us. Bridget Lorenz and Holly Garces will be teaching the RE class for children, with a theme of “widening the circle.” Join on Zoom or come in person. The masks are off, for now, and coffee hour is back in!
