The service theme this Sunday, July 19th, is “Make America Great: For Real.” In his sermon, What Will it Really Take to Make America Great, Rev. Jim Mcconnell will examine the current arising of a new organizing principle for our American Democracy that just might heal our wounds and make us a truly great society. Additionally, Tom Hackley will speak to us about what it will take to make America an environmentally great nation, Judy Ashley will tell us of her vision for a new kind of patriotism, The BUUF Musicians will bring us more great music, Nan Lundeen will preside over the chalice ceremonies, and a special guest will interpret the Story for All Ages.
