Sunday Service: "Looking Back for a Better Way Forward"

This Sunday, November 15th, the theme of our service is “Looking Back for a Better Way Forward.” Rev. Roger Brewin will bring a message titled: “Personal Lessons from a History of U, U, and UU.” Dr. Clark Gilpin will deliver a reading on the great black novelist and essayist James Baldwin. “James Baldwin: Our Lives and Our Hopes” reflects on the meanings of a phrase used across the generations by Black American writers: “between the world and me.” Additionally, Rev Jim McConnell will bring a short reading addressing things we can learn from the recent election season, and there will be some really wonderful music from our BUUF Musicians.  Zoom in and join the service.

The Zoom link, Meeting ID and password will be sent out on Saturday with the emailed Order of Service. If you don’t receive the Order of Service by end of day Saturday, please email Joanne Krettek at office@berrienuu.org or call her at 269-612-8886.
