Sunday Service: "Humor and Spirit" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
Laughter is good medicine. It is good for our bodies and it is good for our souls. This Sunday, April 7th, everyone is invited to come to the 10:30 service for a big dose of laughter. The BUUF kids will open the service. David La Fleur, Keely Adams, and Connie DeGraaf will share their perspectives on laughter. Rev. Jim McConnell will bring a message titled, “Two Old Friends Meet in the Forest.” Joan Guilfoyle will tell the Story for All Ages. June Blackwell will bring a poem and Beth La Fleur will be on the piano.
Rachel Reed and Katharine Lion will teach the RE class for children on “Upcycling Creations.” Following the service, there will be an Anniversary Celebration Planning Session for those interested in helping to plan our 60th Anniversary Celebration on April 27, our 60th Anniversary Service on April 28, and our service honoring Rev. Jim’s 10th anniversary with BUUF on May 5th. The planning session will be led by Dave Sarra.
An appetizer for Sunday’s service…
The world tongue-twister champion just got arrested. I hear they’re gonna give him a really tough sentence.
So what if I don’t know what “Armageddon” means? It’s not the end of the world.
Did you hear about the semi-colon that broke the law? He was given two consecutive sentences.
