Sunday Service: "Great Thinkers" @ Berrien UU Fellowship
This Sunday, November 14th, we are going to celebrate the influence that great thinkers have had on us as individuals and as a religion. In the Story for All Ages, we will ask the kids the question: “If the Earth is round, why doesn’t it feel like we are walking downhill all the time?” For the adults: Gloria Weberg will share a bit of history of one of our founding our parents, Michael Servetus. Roger Brewin, Joan Guilfoyle, and Doug Lohman will talk about great thinkers who have influenced their lives, and Glen and Suzi Smith will talk about the how they prefer to imagine the Universe. Rev. Jim McConnell will speak to why it is important for every UU to imagine the Universe the way it most makes sense to them. Come in person or by Zoom.

His idea that the Experience of Reality and Reality are two different things is foundational to tolerance and acceptance of many points of view and theologies in our UU Religion. Kant had tremendous influence on Founding UU Parent Ralph Waldo Emerson.
