Sunday Service: "Fall Equinox" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

BUUF’s annual Fall Equinox service will take place on Sunday, September 19th at 10:30am. It is an intergenerational service for both children and adults, celebrating the upcoming fall equinox when daytime and nighttime are roughly even.

The service will include a special story called “Jack and Ms. Ruby,” written and read by Nan Lundeen and acted out by our young ones. We’ll also discuss autumn transitions and add leaves to our Transitions Tree. The BUUF Musicians have planned some great music, including a piano performance by Silas Lorenz. And finally, we’ll be taking up a special collection for Harvesters (farm workers) sponsored by InterFaith Action. If you can, please bring a donation of any of the following items to our Fall Equinox service for collection: beans, rice, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and shampoo. Our children will help with gathering donations brought to the service.

Join us in person or on Zoom, and help us celebrate the return of autumn.
