Sunday Service: "Expanding the Circle" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

This Sunday, February 8th we continue with our Monthly theme of: Introducing the Proposed 8th UU Principle. The Focus of the service will be Expanding the Circle, which means acquiring a mature understanding of systemic injustice and working to make a better society. Lisa Fuller, Chair of the Sunday Services team, will talk about the social dimension of making a just society and Rev. Jim McConnell will talk about the spiritual aspect of that work. Additionally, Joanne Krettek has a great Story for All Ages, Nan Lundeen will bring an original poem, and Beth La Fleur and Candace Onweller have some more really great music. And that’s not all…

Tina Eberly will be teaching RE children about Whitney Young, an influential Civil Rights Leader and Unitarian Universalist. In addition, since it’s so close to Valentine’s Day, BUUF’s Ethical Eating Group is planning a “love treat” (a small bag of vegetarian goodies) for BUUFers to take home and enjoy. Also, BUUF President Harvey Johnson plans to give every child who attends the service in person a bar of delicious “fair trade” chocolate. This is a service you won’t want to miss!

Join us on Zoom or in person.
