Sunday Service: "100th Anniversary of Armistice Day" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship | Saint Joseph | Michigan | United States
On the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, in 1918, all hostilities ceased between  Allied and German forces, marking the end of WWI (often called the war to end all wars).  This Sunday, on the eleventh hour (10:30 AM), of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month of 2018 we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.
Dennis Higdon, Janice Zerfas, and Mary Lou Elson will bring poetry and readings of remembrance. The BUUF Singers will sing, “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” Julie Williams will sing, “I didn’t Raise My Boys to be Soldiers,” and Rev. Jim McConnell will reflect, in his message, on the words of Pete Seeger, “When Will We ever Learn?”
Come and remember.
