Our second round of Small Group Ministry takes place in February. The theme for February is “Widening the Circle,” and all BUUFers are welcome to join one of the two Chalice Circles:
- The first Chalice Circle meets on the first Monday of the month from 6-8pm, in person when possible.
- The second Chalice Circle meets the third Tuesday of the month from 1-3pm over Zoom.
Groups met for the first time in January and enjoyed rich discussions on the topic of “Intention.” There is still room for 2-4 members in each Chalice Circle. Groups will vote on when to close the circle to new members.

Unlike other discussion groups, in Chalice Circles we do not engage in cross-talk or debate particular points of view. Instead, we each share our reflections and honor one another through focused listening. More details on this unique discussion approach can be found in the Participant Guide.
If you’d like to get to know your fellow BUUFers better in a more informal environment, build connections and explore your spirituality, Small Group Ministry is a great opportunity to do so. You will be encouraged to attend the same discussion group monthly so that deep connections can be formed.
