League member Richard Klawiter and Mary Meg McCarthy present an exploration of the current and evolving immigration situation in the U.S.

Rich Klawiter, a League member, is a lawyer with extensive experience in domestic and international infrastructure financing and alternative energy development and finance. His pro bono interests are varied and include representing families on immigration matters, asylum and family reunification. He has also represented indigent tenants.
Mary Meg McCarthy is the executive director of the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), one of the nation’s preeminent immigrant and human rights advocacy organizations. She is an internationally recognized immigration law expert who has testified before Congress and at the United Nations. Mary is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She has chaired the ABA Commission on Immigration.
