"Hindsight, Humor and Hope: Who, Me, an Elder?"

Berrien UU Fellowship is offering a Tapestry of Faith program designed specifically for those age 50+. The gift of extended years finds many people becoming elders with deep personal questions such as, Who am I now? and What will I do that is meaningful? This workshop introduces the idea of “elderhood” as a creative and important time of life, a time to search inside, integrate experiences, and cultivate wisdom. Rituals and activities for the program, such as journaling and sharing blessings, will be established. Participants will get to know one another and to create a community of elders learning together.

This workshop will be conducted over Zoom in six two-hour evening sessions. Rev. Jim McConnell and Interim DRE Joanne Krettek will jointly facilitate the workshop. Participants are invited to “bring a friend” to each session. A minimum of five registered participants is needed in order for the workshop to proceed. Please register by emailing dre@berrienuu.org with the names of those who plan to attend. Workshops will take place from 6-8pm on the following Thursday evenings: Feb. 17, Feb. 24, March 3, March 10, March 17 and March 31.
