Environmental Justice Film Series: “Artifishal: The road to extinction is paved with good intentions” @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The next film in our Environmental Justice Film Series will be shown on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM.

(2019) Artifishal: The road to extinction is paved with good intentions is a film about the high cost—environmental, financial and cultural—of hatcheries and fish farms, and our mistaken reliance on human-engineered solutions. It explores our loss of faith in nature, and the impact on communities and ecosystems as wild salmon slide toward extinction. The film is 75 minutes, and after we watch it, we’ll discuss what actions we can take on this and other environmental justice issues.

This event is hosted by Berrien UU Fellowship and is free and open to the public. Free popcorn is included; BYOB encouraged. Doors open at 6:30 PM, so come early, get yourself settled and enjoy some popcorn before the show begins at 7:00!
