Community Conversations: "Why don’t they just get in line?" @ Berrien Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Have you ever wondered, or heard other people wonder, “Why do immigrants come to the U.S. illegally? Why don’t they just get in line & come to our country the right way?”

Berrien Immigrant Solidarity Network (BISN) will help us understand just how difficult the immigration experience is with an IMMIGRATION SIMULATION, an interactive exercise that simulates the complications, challenges and complexities of “getting in line” to immigrate to the U.S.

Berrien Immigrant Solidarity Network (BISN)’s mission is to build immigrant friendly communities in Berrien County and show solidarity with local immigrants. We are people of goodwill who share a belief that the common good is best served by creating an environment in Berrien County that welcomes immigrants and supports these valued members of our community. BISN is a non-partisan network.
