Our next community book read is Building Bridges Across the Racial Divide by our friends, Larry & Sandy Feldman. We will gather by Zoom on Wednesday, June 24th 7-9pm to discuss the book, ask questions, and hear a short talk from Larry & Sandy.

From Google Books: “Building Bridges Across the Racial Divide offers a hopeful view of how well-constructed diversity initiatives can combat entrenched racial prejudice and segregation in American life. This book provides an extensive review of research on methods for reducing stereotypes and prejudice and describes multiple initiatives designed to reduce the negative effects of racial separation by bringing together children, teens, and adults from different racial groups to share a variety of positive experiences.”

Copies of the book are available through Forever Books and many of our congregation already own a copy and might be able to loan it out.

Email dre@berrienuu.org with any questions, if you have a copy you’d be willing to loan out or are in need of a loaned copy.
