We will continue our challenge, Food Insecurity. Here are some things to think about:
Food Insecurity:
Many families in the U.S. are what’s called Food Insecure, meaning that they don’t have enough to eat. Our congregation sponsors our local Soup Kitchen to help feed hungry people. What are some other ways to provide food to your townspeople?
Things to Keep in mind when building your town:
- Where do people in your town get groceries?
- What if they don’t have money to pay for groceries?
- How far away does the food come from?
- Do the food stores have fresh food or only processed foods?
- Are there a variety of grocery companies in your town?
- Do people grow their own food in your town, do they share food?
- Is there a place for farmers to sell their food?
