Immediately following the Sunday, August 29th service, we will be celebrating the end of summer with our Annual BUUF Picnic! Ania Bijak and Diane Gibbons have planned a fun, COVID-safe outdoor party for all ages.
Disposable dishes, utensils, napkins and cups will be provided. BUUF will also provide iced tea, lemonade and/or punch and a couple of main dishes (meat and veggie) prepared in a COVID-safe manner. Guests are invited to bring a dish to share (possibly separated into individual containers) OR, if you prefer to avoid sharing food, simply bring your own food and beverage to enjoy during the picnic.
* FUN FOR KIDS: There will be numerous games and activities, including a bounce house or water slide provided by Beth La Fleur, water games (wear your swim suit!) a ring toss and more! Some adult activities like corn hole will also be set up. Have additional game ideas? Please bring them to the picnic!
* ZUCCHINI DISH CONTEST: BUUFers are invited to bake and share their favorite zucchini dessert, such as zucchini cake, brownies, bread and more! (You may want to divide your dessert into individual containers for easy sampling.) All contest participants will be entered into a raffle for a prize, with a grand prize for the crowd favorite.
The picnic will be held outdoors, where masks are optional. Even if you don’t attend the Sunday service in person, you are invited to come by for the party! Additional folding tables, chairs, table cloths and canopies to shade the activities from sun and rain would be appreciated.
