You and your friends are invited to join members of BUUF’s Social Justice Team as we call voters in Benton Harbor, MI, leading up to the November election. We will be reaching out to people who get targeted for voter suppression — helping them get what they need to check their registration, register online if needed, and answering questions about voting by mail and early voting.

BUUF Phonebanking Schedule (Sept 16-Nov 3):  4 pm Mon, Fri; 7 pm Tu, Wed, Th; 11 am Sat

We will be using MiniVAN to make our calls. We recommend that you preview the platform on a YouTube video HERE or attend training with Michigan UU Social Justice Network:  GOTV Training and Work Sessions.

Phonebanks are an effective way to reach voters. For 90 minutes we’ll gather on Zoom, review the script, and hang out on Zoom while we make the calls–where we can share what we’re hearing, ask questions, and get technical support. We gather back together before we end to hear how the calls went for people, we get our results, and close out together.

Please participate and invite friends to join you. Email Lisa Fuller HERE to be included in the Zoom emails. Let’s #VoteLove and #DefeatHate in 2020!

In solidarity,

BUUF Social Justice Team
