Caring for the HIV/AIDS Community
Sunday, April 22, 10:30 am

This Sunday, April 22, we’ll be hearing a special presentation by Beth Haire-Lewis, Outreach Specialist at Community AIDS and Resource Education Services (CARES). Ms. Haire-Lewis, good friend of fellowship member Gloria Weberg, is a tireless community advocate, wife and mother. She has interests ranging from song and theater to water aerobics.  At CARES, Ms. Haire-Lewis enjoys her outreach duties, helping people infected and affected by the HIV virus. This organization was founded in 1985 and is the second largest HIV/AIDS service provider in Michigan, providing testing and health education to more than 3,000 people annually who are at high risk of HIV infection and serving the needs of people living with HIV, as well as their families.

Dennis Higdon is organizing the service, and Harvey Johnson will be the service leader.

See you Sunday.
