“Reflections on UU History: How UUism Became the World’s Very First Do-It-Yourself Religion”
This Sunday, March 11th, Rev. Jim McConnell’s message is titled: “Reflections on UU History: How UUism Became the World’s Very First Do-It-Yourself Religion.”
We will start in 13th century B.C.E. Egypt and work our way through the Protestant Reformers. Along the way we will examine the thinking of some of the heroes and heroines of our UU Religion.
Gretchen Ohmann and Jim Dalgleish will be our readers, Beth La Fleur will be telling the Story for All Ages, Harvey Johnson will be Song Leader, Mary Lou Elson will be sitting in the Poet’s Corner, and our BUUF musicians will lead the congregation in singing a special musical number.

All God’s Children Community Choir is a multiracial, multicultural group of talented and enthusiastic children and teens, ages 4 to 18, drawn from ten different communities in Southwest Michigan. Led by a multiethnic team of directors, the Choir is now in its 18th year, inspiring audiences with its message of brotherhood and sisterhood, unity, friendship, peace and respect for all people.
