“The Secret of Happiness”

This Sunday, March 4th, Rev. Jim McConnell will speak on Happiness. Everyone wants to be happy. Yet, we often are not.

With the help of Mary Lou in the Poet’s Corner, Jim Fuller and Ralph Heibutzski as readers, Rachel Reed telling our Story for All Ages, and Lisa Fuller as song leader, we will attempt to find the path of true happiness. We will also seek out the advice of some thoughtful people who have important insights on the matter. These include: Mark Twain, Victor Frankel, Eleanor Roosevelt, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Jim’s grandmother, Virginia McConnell who often said: “People are as happy as they decide to be.” What could that mean?

If you already have too much happiness, you can stay home. Or, you could come and share your secret with the rest of us. You could even bring a friend. See you Sunday.
