Volunteers are needed to help with set up and clean up at the League of Women Voters Berrien and Cass Counties holiday potluck, Friday, December 8, 6-10 pm, at Berrien UU Fellowship. This is a fundraising opportunity for the fellowship, and a chance to learn more about the League. The LWVBCC will make a generous donation to Berrien UU Fellowship for our assistance. The potluck is hosted by Marilyn Klawiter, long time member of Berrien UU and LWVBCC.

Sunday December 10th is “Blessing of the Animals Sunday.” Everyone is encouraged to bring their special animal friend or a picture of an animal friend that may be to large to attend or is deceased. It will be an inter-generational service. So, the young ones can also bring their pets to be blessed.

Rev. Jim McConnell will bring the message titled: “Getting in Touch with your Inner Wild Animal” Candace Onweller will be at the piano, Harvey Johnson will speak about wildlife in his back yard, the BUUF music group will have a special musical number for us, Keely Adams will bring a “Story for All Ages,” Vanessa Crenshaw will be our reader, and Mary Lou Elson will be in the” Poet’s Corner.” During the service you will be invited to bring your pet or his/her picture up front for a blessing.
