Announcements

  • From the Safety Committee:
Just a reminder to all that the doors will be locked shortly after the Sunday service starts in an effort to protect the fellowship members from an unwanted intruder. If you are running late and the kitchen side door is already locked, simply tap at first set of double doors of the sanctuary and someone will let you in.

  • From the Green Sanctuary Team:
Many thanks to everyone who is contributing food waste from home to our small composting project. Just FYI (I have been weighing donations!) BUUFers have kept approximately 200 pounds of food waste out of the local landfill from May 24-Nov 24! The finished compost will be used on the BUUF yard in the spring. If you are interested in participating, please contact Diane Gibbons 269-235-0344.
  • Leanne Thomas, BUUF Office Admin: I understand there are several BUUFers who are not getting the Announce and the OOS regularly. We are in the process of updating our software and redesigning our website, which we believe will fix the issues. Thank you to Katharine Lion for doing this in-kind work for us. Meanwhile, you can access each week's Announce in our our website at berrienuu.org at the bottom of the homepage.
  • The BUUF Writers Group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at BUUF. All are welcome. You can work on your own project or work from a supplied prompt. We meet from 12:00-1:00pm, and we're very prompt…Janice Zerfas

New Moon
Women's Circle

Our December Circle will take place at Julia’s home, Wednesday, Dec 4th, from 6:30-9:00 pm. RSVP to Julia for address information at 312-617-1274. Arrive a little beforehand to settle in before we gather in circle. In addition to our usual check-in and discussion, Emilee will share her practices with crystals and Julia will provide a meditation.
Please reply to this email for attendance and carpooling
And, if you haven’t yet, think about creating a streamer for our threshold curtain of Loving Energy. A length of 4’-5’ is just right; any medium: yarn, string, fabric, paper, beads, etc.
Bright Blessings,
Lisa Marie Fuller 269-470-7379
New Moon Women is open to members and friends of BUUF who identify as female or non-binary and feel called to the space.

December 8 will be a mostly music holiday service.
If you can play or sing, please see me.
