Hilary JohnsonBerrien UU welcomes Hilary Johnson as Office Administrator!

Hilary Johnson was born and raised in Colorado. She grew up in Denver and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics. After graduation, she lived in Washington, DC for several years, then briefly in Annapolis, Maryland until moving permanently to St. Joseph at the end of 2015. As well as working as the Berrien UU Office Administrator, she is Office Assistant at Western Michigan University–Southwest, Benton Harbor. She plans on attending Western Michigan University in the fall as a grad student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with a specialization in substance abuse treatment. She enjoys reading, strawberry milkshakes, cats, dogs and Bob’s Burgers.

David Sarra, Berrien UU’s long time Office Admin, is stepping away from the position to focus on his activities as Director of Religious Education, which he passionately hopes have more to do with people than computers.

Hilary (yes, that’s one L) can be reached at office@BerrienUU.org.  Her chief responsibilities include preparing the Sunday order of service, updating the calendar, sending weekly Berrien UU announcements, programming the thermostat, keeping our facebook page lively, maintaining visitor and membership records, and creating nametags.
