More than Honey is a 2012 Swiss documentary directed by Markus Imhoof about honeybee colonies in California, Switzerland, China and Australia. Beekeepers, scientists and others discuss the world’s declining bee population and what it may mean for modern society. Bumblebee researcher Felicity Muth called the film “visually magnificent.” Stephen Holden, writing for the New York Times, calls the cinematography “spectacularly beautiful”.
The movie is about 90 min. long, and after we watch it we’ll have a discussion about what actions we can all take on this important issue.

Healing Stones
Join us as we gather in sacred space to sing, heal, center ourselves and invite peace into our lives through an informal Healing Stones ritual based on a tradition of the Quero of the high mountains of Peru. Bring a stone to donate or accept one as a gift from Red Tent. We will mix them and each pick one to take home. A love offering will buy a gift card for the Safe Shelter from Domestic Violence. All women of the community are welcome. Invite your friends. If you can, please bring a snack to share.
