New Member Ingathering

October 16

The Berrien UU Fellowship Autumn New Member Ingathering will be Sunday, October 16, 2016.  Berrien UU Fellowship friends who wish to become members are invited to sign the membership book and be ingathered into the fellowship in a short ceremony during Sunday Service.  Signing the membership book is a meaningful part of the ingathering ceremony.  Voting membership also requires a financial pledge to the fellowship.  After signing the membership book and making a financial pledge to the fellowship, members are eligible to vote at congregational meetings, serve on boards and committees, and participate in other groups as a member of the church.

Prior to ingathering, friends who are interested in becoming Berrien UU Fellowship members are encouraged to attend UU Allcomers, which offers a beginning look at our principles and purposes and an opportunity to explore how we’ve come to be here, as well as what we are seeking.  The next UU Allcomers is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2016, 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

To RSVP for the Oct 15 UU Allcomers, Oct 16 New Member Ingathering, or for more information, please contact Lisa Fuller, 269-470-7379, President@BerrienUU.org.
