This Sunday, April 29th, Rev Jim McConnell will present a sermon titled: “The Joy of Aging.” Curiously, Humans are one of the few species that has evolved to live extensively beyond their child bearing years. Is there an evolutionary reason that the Earth needs old people? Join us as we examine the spirituality of aging and the joy that growing older can bring.

Our readers will be Gordy Dill, June Blackwell, and Hunter Leggitt. Katharine Lion will tell the Story for All Ages, Dorothy will sit in the Poet’s Corner, Gretchen Ohmann will have some special music for us, and Harvey Johnson will lead singing.

Lisa Fuller will be teaching the Religious Education class for children, expanding on the topic “do no harm.” The children will be making bracelets to help them remember their power to choose to “help,” not “harm.”

See you Sunday.
