The Calling All Colors fun(d)raiser, A Festival of Colors, is just around the corner. This important event will take place on Saturday, October 8th, from 6 to 10 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1300 Cinema Way, in Benton Township. There will be a delicious dinner, drinks, dancing, and entertainment. Guests will also enjoy a prize wheel, games, and a terrific silent auction!
Proceeds from the fundraiser support the important work of the Calling All Colors program, which brings together more than 1,000 elementary school children each year from Benton Harbor and St. Joseph to participate in engaging diversity education experiences. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Scholarship Fund of the Race Relations Council, which helps to support the educational aspirations of college students from Southwest Michigan who have demonstrated a commitment to improving race relations in our area.
We very much hope you will purchase tickets for the Festival of Colors fun(d)raiser, which are only $40 a person. We would greatly appreciate it if you would purchase tickets in advance, so we can accurately inform the Hilton staff about the number of meals to prepare for the event.
